SYNOPSIS
Mokhtar is a successful man: he seems to have everything he could ever have wished for. But it’s not enough. He takes dramatic action, giving up his high-powered job and embarking on a solo voyage around the world. He returns to Egypt with a plan to set up a leadership academy to inspire others.
The academy is about to go live when Mokhtar learns his brother is missing and may be in trouble with the police. So Mokhtar’s new journey begins: a complicated trail leads him to France, Spain, Turkey, and ultimately the stark deserts of Sinai. He meets artists and spiritual travelers as he traces the trail of clues he hopes will lead to his brother, Omri, and the revolutionary mission he is on. And he meets Maria, enigmatic, beautiful, potentially the love of his life. As his quest unfolds and his horizons broaden, Mokhtar learns that creativity is core to every human aspiration and that humility, fellowship, and love matter more than anything.
